Whiting-Turner is one of the fastest growing construction firms in the nation, but not through acquisitions of other firms. Our growth is completely organic and derived from the pride our people take in applying ethics and talent to the opportunities presented, as well as their unwavering dedication to our primary mission — delighting our customers.

Each of our employees is an integral part of Whiting-Turner’s amazing and unique culture. Despite our size, we maintain a universal corporate culture where our employees are dedicated to quality workmanship, safe practices, innovative technologies, community outreach and the highest ethical standards. Our corporate and regional officers have been with Whiting-Turner since the earliest stages of their careers and promote this philosophical and operational consistency across the country.

Whiting-Turner is a career-oriented company whose commitment to promotion from within has resulted in successful and significant geographic expansion. Individuals who seek opportunity and additional responsibility are recognized and rewarded. Graduates can elect to be either a field engineer on a path to superintendent or a project engineer on a path to project manager. We cross-train both in all management disciplines and methods and offer the opportunity to cross over to the other path once they have been exposed and have a better feel for the fit.

Throughout the country and their careers, our people share a passion for community involvement. We support the communities in which we work to help enrich the lives of those who live in them, while also tapping into our people’s desire to be locally engaged. We sponsor and participate in a wide range of events, making a positive impact and building strong relationships within our communities
