Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and physically capable individual to join our team as a Utility Surveyor. In this role, you will use company-provided software and materials to assess utility poles in the field, ensuring compliance with National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and Washington Administration Code (WAC) guidelines. This position involves extensive fieldwork, including walking up to five miles a day to inspect and measure existing utilities on poles.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct physical assessments of utility poles in various field locations.
Utilize company software and materials to measure and document existing utilities on poles.
Develop and implement strategies to meet NESC/WAC guidelines for utility placements.
Work independently and maintain accuracy in data collection and reporting.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project goals are met.
Travel within Washington State may be required occasionally.
Requirements:
Ability to walk up to five miles a day in various field conditions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines and protocols.
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
No previous experience required; comprehensive training will be provided.
Ability to work full-time, with potential overtime as needed.
