Position Overview
We are looking for a Tax Intern interested in building practical skills in tax preparation and general accounting. This role is open to anyone with an interest in accounting or tax—no prior experience required. You will work in person at our Lacey, Washington office and gain hands-on experience in a real tax-season environment.

What You’ll Do
You will work closely with our team to support day-to-day tax-season operations, including:

Entering W-2s, 1099s, and other tax forms into tax software
Performing income reconciliations and preparing workpapers
Helping maintain client files and workflow systems
Supporting general administrative tasks as needed

What You’ll Learn
You will gain hands-on experience with:

Preparing real individual tax returns and supporting documentation
Client communication best practices during tax season
Tax software navigation and accurate data entry
Working in a professional accounting and tax environment
