The intern should have excellent communication skills with an outstanding professional presentation, while assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under direction of the Physician or Physician Assistant.

Primary Objectives:

• Rooming patients
• Assisting providers with exams and surgical procedures
• Prescription refill requests
• Preparing exam rooms for office visits and surgical procedures
• Scheduling appointments and addressing patient phone calls appropriately
• Providing patient education and post-operative care instructions
• Suture removals and wound checks
• Maintaining a professional attitude and attire at all times
