Take Charge Electric is seeking a reliable and motivated Electrical Shop Support team member to assist with the daily operations of our shop and warehouse. This entry-level position plays a vital role in keeping our field crews supplied, organized, and efficient. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn about the electrical construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the shop, warehouse, and yard areas.
- Receive, inventory, and stock electrical materials, tools, and equipment.
- Pull and stage materials for upcoming jobs based on work orders.
- Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles.
- Deliver materials, tools, and small equipment to job sites as needed.
- Perform basic maintenance and inspections on tools and equipment.
- Track and return unused or excess materials from job sites.
- Support electricians and apprentices with shop-related tasks.
- Follow company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Previous warehouse, construction, or electrical experience is a plus but not required.
